How it works

Saline tattoo removal is a non-laser method that uses a saline solution to fade or remove tattoos. A saline solution is injected into the skin in the same layer as the tattoo using a tattoo machine or manual tool. The saline breaks up the tattoo ink and draws it out of the skin through osmosis. The skin scabs over and heals, lifting the ink away with the scab.

When it's used & how it's done

Saline tattoo removal is often used for cosmetic tattoos, eyebrow tattoos, or to fade microblading. It can be a good option if you have small tattoos, darker or sensitive skin, or don't have severe health conditions.

The procedure involves applying numbing cream to the area, injecting the saline solution into the tattoo, and allowing the tattoo to scab over while osmosis takes place.

How long it takes: 2–4 sessions. Many things are dependent on your results which will be discussed in house.

Side effects: The most common side effects are temporary redness and swelling, but some may experience slight discomfort or pain.

What is the saline made of, and is it safe?

The product we use is called Lift. It consists of Lemon Seed Extract and Orange Seed Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Calendula Extract, Sterile Water, Sodium Benzoate (a safe and commonly used preservative with anti-fungal agents and effectiveness against bacteria), and Potassium Sorbate.

Yes, this procedure is safe and highly recommended when wanting to change/correct/perfect cosmetic tattooing that you are unhappy with.
